FULL TATTOO PROCESS
Fill out the booking form.
If you decide to book, a $100 deposit fee will be held. This goes towards your tattoo, and will be taken off of the total price of the finished tattoo. Deposits are non refundable. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy - any appointment that is rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours notice will be lost.
On the day of your appointment, we will have another small consultation beforehand where a finished design will be ready for you and we can make any changes to the design before making it permanent. Please make sure to eat before your appointment and stay hydrated. Please also dress accordingly or bring a change of clothes based on your tattoo placement. Feel free to bring snacks, headphones, a book, etc. You may also bring a guest for support, but please no more than 1 extra person as space is limited. EDIT* CURRENTLY NO GUESTS ALLOWED DUE TO COVID-19 REGULATIONS.
After your session is complete you will be wrapped with vaseline and plastic wrap. Take the wrap off when you get home and take a hot shower, cleaning the area with unscented soap. Let it air dry that night. The next day you will start using either Aquaphor or A&D ointment. You will apply a very thin layer once a day for a week. Shower once in the morning, apply your ointment, and then shower again at night for the first week. After the week is up you can use regular unscented lotion to help with the dryness. Please do not pick at the tattoo, and avoid the sun and submerging into water (hot tubs, baths, pools, oceans, etc) for 3 weeks. Do not work out for 48 hours, and do not wear rough clothing/ shoes that rub against the tattoo.
The speed of healing is influenced by the size and style of the tattoo, (color can scab up more than black & grey, and the bigger the tattoo the longer it may take.) Your overall health is also influential, as your body is healing an open wound. Typically, your tattoo should be fully healed within the month.
